Oh Dear. I googled your problem...you are not alone! There were 407 hits and they all looked sim related. What the hell? Figured it basically meant update your drivers you
crazy lady... Then thought hang on, you need direct x9 to play the
Sims 2, and I am pretty sure it came with it, but i updated my drivers
anyway and still got this message.
Any ideas what's going on??
(really wish i had saved the cracked exe. file before I uninstalled
and moved my sims now... LMAO)

hi everyone lol i have some questions regarding apartment life, im wondering where the witches are lmao. ive been playing for 4 days alternating between 2 or 3 different families in a couple different apartments and still have yet to come across any lol. and i was wondering if the secret passage bookcase the sims have can be figured out by them selves on how to use it, i had my one sim go into the secret room but she couldnt figure it out how to get back to the main area. would they learn how to use it over time or do i have to keep clicking on "read great mystery story" or something or other lol. thanx all for ur help happy simming :o)

Right, so I downloaded the No CD Crack fixed Exe. file from game copy world, unzipped, replaced old exe with crack, created shortcut, only for it to display this message. "Failed to enumerate and DirectX 9 compatible graphics adapters in

I don't know if you can download M&G from the store. If you want to pirate it there are torrents out there, but I have no idea where or how to use them.
Personally I would not use their installer or download from the store because you get securom. If I really wanted the store stuff I would follow this link...

What you want is the fixed exe. Save it and open the zip. (you may want 7zip to open it, http://www.7-zip.org/)
Find your game exe. (Sims2EP9)
C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\The Sims 2 Mansion and Garden Stuff\TSBin
(if you don't have M&G look in C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\The Sims 2 Apartment Life\TSBin)
Move it to a safe place. Replace the exe. with the crack.
Delete your old shortcut from your desktop and make a new shortcut from the cracked exe.
It's easier than you think!
I have been playing without my discs for ages, it seems to load faster and play better and my discs are safe with their booklets in their boxes!
