Possibly she's thinking a pkg. file needs to be opened instead of placing it in the Downloads folder.

I am new to doing this. I am trying to download a vatiety of things.
After I download them they are on my desktop on Compressed Zip Files.
So what I do is open those up, then double click on what is inside,
then a window pops up that ask me
"Open With"
"Recommended Programs-"
Acrobat wordpad media center
Or you can go click on "browse" to choose a program. But I don't know
what to use.
Is there an easier way to do this.
Please HELP!!!!
