Hello Amy, In regards to your questions, from what I've experienced, the answers are as follows: - Just like Sims 2, you have to at least be best friends or more for the question to spawn.
- It will probably be a pain for you, but you can easily change the hairstyles for the outfits when you change the appearance. Just go to the mirror and select "Change Appearance", then select the hairstyle of choice. KEY NOTE: You have to have the outfit on in which you want to change the hairstyle. (i.e.: to change the hairstyle for formal, you have to be in the formal outfit before going to the mirror and selecting "Change Appearance" and ect.)
- Unless you accidentally selected only so many traits at the start, the only thing I can think of is that it's possible just a program error in the game. Now, even some of the NPCs have missing traits as adults. I noticed that all of my maids, male and female, have only 3 or 4 traits compared to the normal 5 for adults. Did you go to the trait selection area when you were creating your Sim? If you were referring to meeting an NPC, then that is normal.
