will the 7zip work with rar files i dont have any program right now and i run vista so i get all the zip files to work but ive noticed that some programs dont so up in game and im wondering if it might be the rar files

When my winzip ran out I changed to 7 zip. Before I reinstalled windows (thanks to Securom) I used winzip trial version. It would be outdated, but still work. They must have changed that and it made me mad!!
