Re: objects_for_Sims2 Sims 3

Hi Owlsy,
I was going to try the cheats from the google you mentioned, but my game won't load anymore.
The message is that it can't recognised as  verified , it's  the new stuff pack. It's played a couple of times, but now refuses to.
Is there a way that I can get it sorted.
It says to take it back to the retailer I got it from, but they don't know what the problem is.
Cheers

Ruby,

I answered your email twice, because some people just skip the OT ones.

Sims 3... my older daughter's boyfriend bought me that, what a lovely surprise.  It doesn't work on the systems i have, so i'm waiting till i get a new puter to try it out.

My younger daughter has it, and loves it.  I don't think i'm going to like whole neighbourhoods aging in time with my Simmies, but since i play with aging off that probably won't affect me.  And seriously, if that cheat doesn't work, i won't want to play it!  The only deaths i accept are accidental, or if *i* (just call me God) want to kill one of 'em!

If none of your cheats work, google Sims3 cheats, they might be different to Sims2 ones... MTS might have articles on it too.

My daughter tried to explain that you can only play one created family per neighbourhood, something like that... i think there is more to it, but that's the sense i got, and i don't like the sound of it.  Is that what you mean about your families not connecting?

As for buying *per item* from Eaxis, what a ripoff!  They just want to cash in on the whole paysite phenomena.   The main reason i buy stuffpacks (Sims2) is because i know some talented creator is going to use that stuff to make items i actually want!  Furthermore with user-created items i can change the price, the want values and even catalogue placement. (Thank you talented proggy creators!). I say main, coz they DO have a few items i use a lot in gameplay, and i do love the item descriptions, very funny!  So if anyone from Eaxis is reading this, stop that *per item* crap and go back to stuffpacks!

I like how you can recolour items ingame with Sims3, that sounds great.

If you've got this far, and you have Sims 3, let us know how it is for you... what you like, what you don't?

Cheers,

Owlsy

Yay for chocolate, though I had to email Cadbury and let them know I did'nt aprove of the new recipe, toooo fatty tasting, and now they are back to the original
but are they still based in NZ?????
Only here now and again now, life has sped up a little with courses full steam ahead and work.
Cheers all,
I did'nt get a responce to my question on have any of you tried out the Sims3. I have it on my partners Mac, but i'm not enjoying it the same as Sims2.
The cheats are not working and the families/ friends don't connect ( the ones we create ourselves).
