Hellooooo Did I just catch a glimpse of the words Farmville, Cafe World, etc? LOL! I have also been spending way to much time on those apps! It was lovely to read all your emails and see what's going on in everyone's lives. Haven't played sims 2 for a looooong time! As for Sims 3.....hplayed it and then got fed up with all the glitches and problems and left that for a while as well. Just getting back into as I finally have a great new graphics card and bought the stuff pack. A few new patches lately seems to have fixed up some of the problems I had with Sims 3, so I might get back into simming again! My mum also passed away last year from pancreatic cancer so that was a sad time for me. Anyway, Owlsy, Ruby and Debby and fellow simmers great to catch up with you all. Take care. Hugs Sabina Xxxxx -------Original Message------- Owlsy & Ruby, I loved your emails and miss the old group! I've been directing my *lazy arse* (love that term!!!) time to Facebook, which I, along with millions of others, have become addicted to. FarmVille, YoVille, Cafe World. rotf! A semi-substitute for Simming! I still have all of my original Sims & expansions, sold my entire Sims 2 set on ebay, purchased Sims 3 (old habits die hard ~ I don't like it but perhaps haven't given it a chance). Then I had a panicky freak-out, lol and actually RE-BOUGHT Sims 2 on ebay ~ I know, I know, but at the same time you DO understand, don't you? lol The base game and 20 add-ons. At least let it be known that I sold mine for more than I re-purchased, haha. We have a PC that I did a complete system restore on ~ it's old, but new again, and all it's going to have on it are Sims and expansions. woohoo! I was sorry to hear of the troubles you've had, but so happy that you shared and that you're moving in a positive direction, Owlsy. We all have lots of skeletons in our closets...issues that were never dealt with when we were kids because if your home was anything like mine we had a "children should be seen and not heard" type of environment most of the time. Your faith, joy for life and acceptance of what-will-be-will-be attitude will surely keep you in better health both mentally and physically! Ruby, your Mom was blessed to have found love to see her through 'til the end. She must have been some kind of woman! I've really missed y'all and my Simmies, & I'm so ready to get back to our circle of friends again, too :D Thank you for sharing your stories and lives. Love & Hugs, gdwhich Debby Oaks on Facebook if you want to add me as a friend! Please mentions Sims as our keyword to each other for immediate acceptance! -----Original Message----- -- From: Ruby <ruby7001@gmail.com> To: objects-for-sims@googlegroups.com Sent: Sun, Feb 21, 2010 2:28 am Subject: Re: objects_for_Sims2 OT Me FLAVOR00-NONE-0000-0000-000000000000 ;
