So then Securom doesn't install itself from when you are installing the new games on your computer from the installation disk? I'm confused I thought it did...
Thank you!

If you have started the game from the disc, it's too late you have securom.
If not just get the crack, find your game exe. and put it someplace safe. Put the no cd crack where your exe was. Done. You can make desktop shortcut, if you like, but don't use an old one!!

you want the [MULTI16] No DVD/Fixed EXE
This simply allows you to play without using your disc, therefore avoiding getting securom. It also usually loads faster and plays better!

That way securom does not install.

yeah but the problem is if you are planing on getting the sims 3 sucrom is already on your computer because of sims 2 so they dont need to state that their still going to use it because its already there. hmm.. basically this part.....
The game will have disc-based copy protection – there is a Serial Code just like The Sims 2. To play the game there will not be any online authentication needed.
We feel like this is a good, time-proven solution that makes it easy for you to play the game without DRM methods that feel overly invasive.......
.....
to me sounds like it will be serial code protected and securom free... as invasive as securom is to your comp in so many ways this *would* actually be their 1st admittance though wouldnt it? ... it hadnt dawned on me that it's possible for that to be open to interpretation and could in fact be just vague enough to make it sound misleading *sigh* hmm where do we look for details?......
Don't believe the hype and be just another sheep in the herd check the facts!
