objects_for_Sims2 Ghost colors and ghosts actions.

Depending on how a Sim died, their ghost will have a specific color to them.

Disease -> Your ghost will be green

Drowning -> Your ghost will be blue and will leave puddles

Fire/Burning -> Your ghost will be red and smoking

Fly Swarm -> Your ghost will be purple

Electrocution -> Your ghost will be yellow, and will throw sparks around while
                 occasionally electrocuting itself

Old Age -> Your ghost will be white

Satellite -> Your ghost will be orange

Scared to Death -> Your ghost will be pink

Starvation -> Your ghost will be normal, but transparent, and it will remove
food from the fridge, depleting your stores

===============================================================================

Once a Sim is dead, there will be a tombstone or urn in their place.  If they
died outside, it's a tombstone; if they died inside, it's an urn.  You can move
a tombstone/urn to any location, but you may be haunted by the ghost of the
dead Sim, as they don't like their remains being moved.  If a Sim dies with an
aspiration level of at least gold, the tombstone/urn will display the level of
the Sim's aspiration (Brainstretcher, Moolah Mogul, Left-Out Loser, etc).
Sims can mourn the dead Sim, but it's only really powerful the first few days,
and mourning somewhat dies off (no pun intended) after that.  Children and
teenagers have two special interactions, and that is "Kick" and "Smash".  Both
interactions cause fun to increase, but if you smash the tombstone/urn, you
won't get rid of the ghost until you have someone clean up the remains.

Ghosts will perform a variety of actions whenver they materialize from their
grave.  They will randomly appear between 12:00am and 7:00am.  They will:

- Turn on any televisions or stereos, and leave them on for you to see when you
  wake up

- Cause all flowers to wilt and die; shrubs and trees aren't counted

- Make dining room chairs float, even if a Sim is in one

- Will cause the toy xylophone to play by itself

- Cause the microwave to float, open and close it's door

- Cause the Incision Precision dummy to float

- Cause any tub to fill with water; if the ghost is mad for some
reason (see below), there's a chance he'll make the water dirty, which will
cause you to have to clean the tub

- Cause the teddy bear's head to spin or to float

- Cause a table lamp to broken, if the ghost is in a bad mood

The ghost's mood is determined by what you do.  If the dead Sim was married and
their spouse gets remarried, this will cause the ghost to be angry.  If a Sim
died of starvation and there is no food in the house (for example, your fridge
is empty), the ghost will be mad.  Finally, if you decide to move out of the
house and into another lot, the ghost will be pissed at the new Sims who move
in, because tombstones and urns remain on the lot the Sim died on and can't be
taken.

If a ghost's tombstone or urn is kicked or smashed by a child or teenager, the
ghost will be extremely angry, which can be multiplied by any of the above
reasons.

There are two things you can do to halt ghosts.  If you want to keep the urn or
tombstone, but don't want your kids kicking or smashing them, you can put a
fench around it, blocking access to it.  You can even line it with flowers and
trees if you wanted to make a memorial of sorts.  Just be sure not to put a
gate up or your kids can still get to it.  The other option is to go into Buy
mode and sell the tombstone or urn.  This will get rid of the ghost completely.
