When you use the move objects on/off cheat, you can move or delete PEOPLE too. Try turning move objects on, and delete the butler!

Ruby, just ask the group... coz if i can't help you, i know someone will be able to!

With the *cannot select object in use* thing, i use the move_objects on/off cheat, and that seems to circumvent that one.

As for the butler... dunno.  Can anyone help Ruby with this one?

Cheers

HI Owlsy,
I have a problem here with objects. I don't know how it happens, but it must be as I close the game and have selected things for the Sims to
do. When I reopen the game to play, the ojects cannot be moved. Like I want to put a bed into their inventory, to make room for a nursery,
the box says "Cannot Select an object in Use"    It is'nt in use.
Also, in one of my families homes, the butler keeps ringing the fire station, the fire engine is continually calling by, it's hard to play this family as the phone is ALWAYS in use by the butler, I fired the butler, but he keeps turning up.
Hope you can help
cheers
