Sorry to hear that Ruby, Go here: Go into Sims2, go into Programs, scroll down and get the Sims2 Hack Conflict Detection Utility. Run that when the game is not playing, you will get a list of hacks you are using that have the potential to conflict with one another. Check the whole list out first coz you might get one that conflicts with maybe four others... that would be the one to delete. Otherwise, you then get to choose which one you want to keep and which one you want to get rid of... you then go into Downloads and, if you are me, move the *bad* hacks to a folder outside of the EA Games folder (you never know you might decide you want those ones after all). I also went into fixes and got a working cafeteria person linked to a stove for apartment life... now i can have Bed&Breakfast places! The other one i use is Delphy's Download Organiser, available here: READ THE PAGE before download. Again, run it while Sims is not running, i think you can't run anything else while its running. You can sort items by function, check for bad files, and orphans (files without a mesh or base object, meshes without files) - although he says that orphans listed are not always correct, so i don't use that function. I DID use it to put all my hacks into one file inside my downloads folder. As for Game Help, you can turn it on or off somewhere in that (...) section. I think its pretty useless, just windows pop up with a bit of info, you can't select for one EP, when you turn it on you will get popups for everything. I find it more useful to hover the mouse over a want/need... a lil popup will tell you how to meet it. Hope some of this helps, Owlsy

Also, where do I find Game Help please? Thanks in advance -------Original Message------- Date: 03/21/09 14:17:14 Subject: objects_for_Sims2 Re: *How To Kill a sim* Ok, i went trolling on modthesims2 (any excuse, gotta Thank YOU, lol) and found: This one has HEAPS of functions, i already have it - i must have, i thanked the thread (anyone else lose track of exactly what they have?) One of which is killing selected Sim, and the Grim Reaper will appear. Has the elixer of life as a download, also the elixer of death Now THIS one looks kewl... a raygun of disease... mwah hah HAAAAAA. Point n zap, they roll around and die Tree plant of DEATH - touch it and die... i guess you'd have to fence it in so only the Sims you WANT to touch it can access. This reminds me of Ophelia's poisons for Sims1 - i had to keep them fenced in coz the Sims all wanted to go up and grab 'em. A Killstone, normally available using a cheat, the creator made it buyable This is the Tombstone Of Life And Death, again normally accessable using a cheat, now buyable... hope you can kill people with this one... not many details, lol And finally: A poison potion. And as the creator says: Poisoning! it's not just for Assassins anymore! Fun for the whole Family! Bring Grandma!
There is also a link on that page to other poisons on another site. Ok all you death-dealers!!! ENJOY *big grins* Owlsy

I have killed lots of Sims.. All you have to do is make sure you don't let them eat.. They will get really pissed but it's an easy way to kill them off. I have even had them go to a community (sp) lot that I call can u dig it. It has nothing on it it is just an empty lot that I make them dig up. It has no food or bathrooms. They get really hungry and really stinky and really pissed but I like to see how much stuff they will dig up before they die... I am so evil.. Have a great day.

I *think* they have to be right next to the gravestone for the mourning to count.

If your Simmies don't mourn at the graveside often enough to suit the dearly departed, the ghost *walks* and if a Sim is outside, they can be scared by the ghost. Pretty kewl eh? *grins* Owlsy
