Umm don't recommend getting a cooking pad for laptop...  Cooling pad, on the other hand, really does help cool them done...  lol

Many different types depending how much you want to pay...  I use a simple one that just lets more air get to the bottom, and my laptop still gets warm but not as hot as it was.  My brother uses one that has 2 fans blowing right at the bottom of his laptop, and he says that it doesn't get that warm at all...  I paid $20 for mine, and I think he said that he paid $35 for his...
