objects_for_Sims2 Re: can anyone help me

I had a similar problem with learning the new things in the bookcase.  When i clicked on... learn Parenting, for example, the Sim would go and get a book, sit down, then would suddenly be standing alongside where they sat, with no book.  I didn't worry when it was just Parenting, but with AL there are oodles to learn.  I figured it was one of the many cheats i had, probably concerning the bookcase.  Turned out to be *put all books away* cheat.
 
Is it a particular seat they are jumping up from? Does it happen with seats that came with the game? Do you have any cheats to do with sitting, or kissing/making out (which has a seated component), or might be something to do with comfort?

I'm sorry, too, Dawn Marie (also love your name) I don't know why your Sims are jumping up either.  Too much expresso?  I hope someone can help figure out the problem for you.
