objects_for_Sims2 Sims stuck on vacation

I copied this from another forum and some are touchy about it, so I hope you don't mind I sent it to you instead of posting on the group.



" I UNSTUCK MY SIM from Vacation!!

And yes, I'm shouting -- with joy!

I took a drastic step, but it worked. Chester is back in his home, happily eating breakfast.

First, I of course backed up the N001 folder.

Then I used the Clean Installer to browse the N001 Lots folder to locate the Axes Wood Campground. I then removed that Lot to my desktop and relaunched the game.

I selected Chester's home from the neighborhood view and to my delight, it loaded! And within a few seconds, the shuttle appeared, Chester got out and went straight in to make himself breakfast. I saved and exited to neighborhood. His plumbob over his home returned to bright green.

He's playing fine -- and all the relationships he made while stuck on vacation, including those with people back in the neighborhood, all his skills (slap dance, gesture), all his memories, souvenirs and so on are there!

Whew!! I'm ecstatic!! I lost the Axes Campground, but feel it was worth it."
