Avast is also excellent (http://www.avast.com/). And they have a good freeware Home Edition. There are several others out there that are also good (and free). Most of these companies hope you'll like the product enough to buy the "full boat" versions they offer. Most are vastly superior to McAffee or Norton.

Ok, I have heard there are free antiviruses out there but then you get pre trial version, 30 days free then pay later, or billing infomation. This to me is not Free I am looking for something with no strings, no commitments, and no trial versions. Something lagit and real and FREE. Thought maybe you out there could help me with this. Thanks JK
